The Moel Fammau Mountain Race is over a distance of approximately 4 miles, and the winner usually takes under half an hour to complete it. There are various prizes including outright winner, local winner, ladies winner, etc.
Entry costs £5.00.

There is also a Junior Road Race of about 1.5 miles for 11 to 15 year olds.
