Brilliantly organised show yesterday. Well done to all concerned. Special thanks to Mr Magico. Punch and Judy show was superb. Kids loved it…And so did I. Don McElhoney.

Heather Prydderch : What a splendid show!  It was the first time we’d been – we really came to support the Lib Dems on their stand, but managed to spend plenty of time around the show. Lots of interesting stalls, and the music was excellent – special congratulations to Dave and John near the pub.  And there was so much for (and by) the children.  I was also very happy that people liked my puzzle in the Home and Garden tent;  thanks to Judith and Ann for their kind comments (and the prize!)

Sue Fitton: It was our first time at the show and we were so impressed by it's organisation and attendance so we, Crafty Sisters Cymru, plan to return next year and hopefully be in the midst of the activity next time. Fiona Whitelaw: Me and my hubby had a fab time at the show. His landscape photographs were really well received and people were ever so generous to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Ange & Annette: What a brilliant day yesterday. I hope you as the committee were well pleased with the turn out. The red arrows flying over gave me goose bumps. I was so proud of them.

Brilliant day for us very tiring but well worth every minute. Looking forward to next year.

Neil Finegan.  Just a quick note to say thank you for some excellent running events yesterday. As a club runner with Helsby, this event was highly recommended by the other members hence the turnout of 10 Helsby vests. Yesterday was my first time at this event and I can see why the others loved it - a superb course with a mixture of everything, well organised with plenty of marshals, and the support on the route (especially at the top) was brilliant. The support is really what set the race apart. Many summer shows have a race attached to them these days as it guarantees 100 plus runners and their families will attend. But yesterday the runners were made to feel really welcome and appreciated.

The junior race was brilliant too. I ran this with my 5 year old daughter who has said it is her favourite race ever.

The Relish Club. Really good day at the Cilcain Show, Bev busy dancing with Dawnsyr Delyn hence her absence in this snap. Cilcain Cookies were a success as well as our normal range of chutneys. 2015

It was my first time at this event. I was drawing caricatures in my red gazebo. My first impression was that some one or a group of people new what they were doing. From help parking my car to some one showing me where I was going to pitch my stand. I thought these folk no how to run an event! I was informed that not every one had turned up, but that didn't stop the crowd filing in at the gate. In a word I'LL be back.

Thank you for a lovely day today! We really enjoyed ourselves and were so impressed by the organisation of the show and the beautiful village in which it took place. Well done to your and all your helpers. We would love to join you again next year!!

The event was fantastic. Very well organised, with almost military precision. ( I'm dyslexic) From a disastrous Sunday yesterday more than made up for it. My thanks to every one who helped me from parking to showing me where to set up. Yes I would love to come back next year on to the main field again. It was my wife who spotted your booklet. W.C.

Just wanted to send you a quick email to say thank you for having Birling's at the Cilcain Show yesterday. It was the friendliest event I have done for a long time and business was brisk all day. In fact I sold out by the end of the afternoon which is always a good sign. Had a great time judging the Scarecrow Competition. So pleased to be asked and was treated so well. The entries were really great and varied which made the overall decision and placements all the more difficult. I hope I got it right. Well done to all who took part and to everyone who contributes to the organisation and success of the day. It is certainly a lovely way to spend the Bank Holiday, particularly, when the weather is as good as it was this year. I am sure you are already planning for next year. Good Luck!!
